Traffic & Cost Controller is the only person in the agency that has direct link with all the sections with in TRIBE (Finance, Admin, Operation, Client Servicing, Account Planning and Creative)This job is designed to avoid internal and external frustration with project coordination and delivery. Moreover, Create efficiency in delivery of jobs required by the clients, to ensure that the departments are working with the same sense of urgency as the job requires.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Be able to identify synergies in cost and materials and recommend efficiency enhancing solution.
Draws up time schedules to ensure that the job progresses efficiently through the different stages of briefing, presentation, debriefing until the job goes into production stage. They issue schedules to each member of the agency working on the campaign and provide key dates for clients servicing and creative team ; enough time to review, approve and present the work.
Estimating/pricing, and updating finance team with initiation of jobs to generate cost, and completion to generate payment.
Deadline management for creative, to ensure that they deliver the project in a timely manner that aids the client to meet their launch dates comfortably.
Proactively gathers the necessary information to plan and implement each project.
Ensures that all essential information is present before allowing commencement of work.
Keeps Senior Creative and Account Services Manager informed of any issues that would impact deadline and client relationships.
Assists accounting in processing and obtaining approvals on production invoices.
Issue TRIBE POâ€™s, for cost allocations & pricing purposes.
Generating a monthly report and presentation to the agency heads of sections and key team players in the leadership that maps clearly agency performance financially and adding notes to rectify agency performance.
Processes job memos, assigns job numbers, and distributes work orders and job cost to assigned account team.
Traffics all jobs within the agency, including monitoring status of jobs daily, preparing weekly job status reports for account management, creative and production, and conducting weekly/bi weekly traffic meetings.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
– Bachelor degree/Post Graduate Degree , specialization in Marketing .
