1- Accountant

Contract type:                   Permanent

Reporting to:                     Finance Manager & Production Manager at site.                                               

JOB SUMMARY:

Accountant responsible of finance and accounting issues in the factory, Works closely with factory management and production senior staff to plan work and make sure all financial resources are supporting production daily operations.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • BSc. in Financial Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Accountant preferable in Manufacturing field.
  • Excellent Oral & written communication skills.
  • Fluent English language.
  • Familiar with Microsoft package.
  • Cash management knowledge.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with preparation of the budget.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain cash controls.
  • Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
  • Establish and maintain supplier accounts.
  • Monitor cash reserves and investments.
  • Review, analyzes and presents financial data, including revenue projections and expenditure reports, to determine funding requirements.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
  • Processes supplier invoices.
  • Prepare the income statements.
  • Prepare the balance sheets.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports of operations, expenditure reports, statistical data, and other information concerning financial requirements; assists in gathering and reviewing data for preparation of budget work programs.
  • Maintain the purchase order system.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.
  • Maintain various ledgers, journals, registers and other fiscal records; allocates revenue to appropriate functions; classifies expenditures and posts to various accounts as require.
  • Ensure data is entered into the system.
  • Ensure security for all credit cards and verify charges.
  • Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system.
  • Collect and organize accounting data, interpret its significance, and prepare accurate financial reports.
  • Present accounting data in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Solving difficult and complex accounting and related financial problems.
  • Planning & Scheduling:Plan monthly needs of petty cash for production running.In coordination with Finance department prepare factory needs of cash.
  • Staff payments & factory needs payments:Prepare lists of payments in coordination with HR & Admin person for staff payments.Keep records of files hard and soft and vouchers copy.Coordinate with procurement people the purchase of local needs.

2- Production Manager

Location based:                Factoryat ATBARA City – Nile River State
Reporting to:                     GENERAL MANAGER                                                     

JOB SUMMARY:

Production Manager oversees the manufacturing process & service included in the plant such as; QHSE, Mechanical and Electrical workshops, maintenance, accounting, services & security of the plant.  His main activity to ensure smoothly and efficient work environment. Work closely with HQ team plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor’s degree program in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum total experiences 12 years included 4 years’ experience in Production environment as managerial Position.
  • Have a wide knowledge of steel fabrication processes as cutting, fabrication, milling, welding procedures steel erection, handrails, sheet metal, rolling and bending.
  • The experience of diagnosing and resolving design and functional issues arising in the course of a project.
  • Good knowledge with steel fabrication machines and CNC machines.
  • Good knowledge of machine tools and die design for steel machines.
  • Good knowledge of steel and stainless steels suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Able to develop and manage steel fabrication unit.
  • Able to do material optimization and cost savings.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design concepts and practices.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contract Review / Capacity Planning:

Ensure production departments have sufficient time to manufacture and deliver on time according to the customer’s request.

  • Planning & Scheduling of Workload:Manage customer order / schedule requirements.Pre-plan production and deploy a daily prioritized work schedule to the shop floor with appropriate time deadline targets. Set, monitor & review work load schedule
  • Production Control:Plan all materials for new products and ensure optimal utilization of all resources and administer product orders and ensure compliance to all timeframe for all fabricated products.Monitor & review production progress against deadline targets to ensure on time delivery.Adjust the production schedule as required and communicate any change to delivery date with the customer accordingly.Monitor & review manufacturing operations to ensure correct quality standards.Ensure that all production related activity is time and cost efficient / effective.Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained & repaired.Design various ideas for all ladders and gantries and prepare detail drawings for all fabrication processes.Prepare estimates and quotes for all supply materials and assist to fabricate and weld all products.Manage all communication with supervisors and ensure efficiency of all fabrication process and resolve all issues for processes.Analyze all root causes for all fabrication issues and resolve same and implement all new process tools according to required order.Coordinate with technicians and provide support to all teams and maintain quality of all work processes in systems.Coordinate with sales team and prepare all product designs and develop products for R&D team.Cooperate and advice the design team for detailing and structural calculations.Assist factory manager and prepare reports on regular basis after final inspections.Manage and reconcile all work orders with help of vendors and prepare required drawing and evaluate all welding joints.Maintain quality for all fabrication from conceptualization to implementation and perform inspection for all painting and sandblast.Provide support to all total productive maintenance programs and design all fabrication processes and appropriate schedules.Collaborate with work team and assist in delivery projects.Do materials take off for steel structure.
  • Quality ControlEnsure production/quality processes, equipment being used and the working environments are all conducive to producing a high quality product / service.Monitor production activity to ensure that the appropriate manufacturing methods are employed and that sufficient due care is taken in order to meet the customer’s build and quality specifications. Ensure rejected product / non conformance is rectified as high priority and that customers are kept informed accordingly. Ensure the correct non conformance paperwork is raised and processed with every reject.
  • Staff Training & DevelopmentEstablish goals and objectives for self and team and implement accordingly to help support / improve job performance (experience, ability, competence).Be aware of and promote manufacturing best practice and performance standards.Develop and monitor performance standards.Identify individual training needs.Implement, monitor and review training and development plans.
  • Performance Management & Annual AppraisalsMonitor, review and address personnel under performance, maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures.Conduct and record annual performance appraisals.Ensuring that the appropriate systems and processes are in place to measure and manage staff performance and to coach and develop a high performance workforce.
  • Health & SafetyPromote & maintain awareness and compliance of H&S in accordance with best practice and legal requirement.
  • Monitor and manage production KPI’sAchieve the company’s on time delivery target of 95%.Control all associated operational and manufacturing costs according to the prevailing annual budget forecast.
  • Develop & implement operational improvementsEnsure non value added activity is reduced in all manufacturing processes by using lean / kaizan tools and techniques.Manage change to meet current business requirements.Implement manufacturing improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, increase throughput and minimize costs.
  • Developing a high performance workforcePromoting and upholding company performance standards and culture (on time delivery, quality, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, housekeeping & work ethic).

  • Participate and possibly lead focus and project teams.
  • AutoCAD is an must.
  • Knowledge of international standards, BS , ASTM , AAMA related to steel work

3- HR & Admin Officer

Location based:                Factoryat ATBARA City – Nile River State
Reporting to:                     HR & Admin Manager & Production Manager at site.                                                      

JOB SUMMARY:

HR & Admin Officer do all the daily and monthly even the routine department transaction and providing of delivering the services which request from the other function by high quality, that through the HR & Admin management procedures. As well as correcting, advising and helping other requesters function about the best way to deliver the services. 

HR & Admin Officer responsible of HR & Admin issues in the factory, Works closely with factory management and production senior staff to plan work and make sure all human resources and manpower are supporting production daily operations.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • BSC in BA, economic, law, or others related.
  • Field experience from two to four years’ related to HR and Administration activities.
  • Very good in communication (written and verbal) in English & Arabic language with interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft package.
  • Familiar with labor laws and regulations.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for creating employee files physically and digitally.
  • Responsible for updating manpower and HR administration data.
  • Responsible for starting and complete the hiring procedures according to the recruitment and selection guidance procedures.
  • Responsible for check and complete HR Administration Procedures (Leaves, Business travels, sick leaves, …… etc).
  • Responsible for preparing and complete termination and end of the service procedures according to the HR guidance procedures.
  • Preparing monthly social insurance transaction (add, remove and adjustment) then preparing the basic list with monthly payment.
  • Preparing the department letters and organizing according to system.
  • Review monthly check of the staff medical claims with the company doctors then preparing monthly payment.
  • Receiving and preparing the monthly payment orders for the medical providers after company doctors approval.
  • Responsible for issuing all staff cards (Company identify & Medicals).
  • Preparing monthly activities reports and other required reports.
  • Preparing the monthly staff overtime procedures by verifying and do the calculation necessary.
  • Following and verifying the casual labour contracts with Admin officer at Factory site and keep updating system.
  • Any duties and task asked to do by line manager related to the job.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Sudan employment regulation and laws (Labour, Social insurance … etc.).
  • Mathematical calculation with analytical methods.
  • Ability to read and explain company policies and procedures.
  • Design and develop the HR & Administration formats system.
  • Ability to organize the letters systems.
  • Writing reports.
  • Ability to work on ERP system.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
