Job Title : Intern- Programmes

-Overview
Apex Internship Programme offers eligible candidates the opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in both Humanitarian and Development cooperation work. Apex is active in various functional areas related to its partners areas of operation such as : Migration and Displacement, Education, Economic development , Livelihoods and capacity building. Apex is carrying out different activities from Research and research design, base-line assessments, Monitoring and evaluation to Strategic planning and bespoke consultation and training.
The Internship program is offered depending on the needs and capacity of office to receive and supervise interns. Currently available internship opportunities are limited to programmes.
-Examples of work entrusted to interns include:
Participating in the preparation of studies and documents;
Carrying out research and reviews of existing materials;
Collecting, organizing and analyzing data;
Contributing to the production of documents, working papers and publications resulting from the above activities, including drafting notes and preparing technical annexes;
Participating in meetings and seminars;
Liaising and building networks with officials in national administrations, researchers, other international organisations
Contributing to the organisation of events, communication, planning and evaluation.
– The selection process consists of four main stages:

3-Interview and/or Written Test: hiring team may invite candidates to complete a telephone interview and/or written test;
4-Offer letter: if you are selected following a telephone interview and/or written test you will receive an e-mail with your internship offer letter from Apex team.
The duration of the internship is for a period between one and six months (renewable for another six months up to a total of twelve months), on a full-time basis (40 hours/week). Apex encourages potential interns to stay for six months in order to gain the best possible insight into work at Apex. A contribution to living expenses will also be provided
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for an internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be proficient in both English and Arabic.
Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
Individuals must demonstrate excellent academic performance through recent university or institution records.
Additional consideration will be given to any past professional experience.
