Position summary:

Inspect and ensure effective implementation of developed Fire Fighting systems requirements and conduct Firefighting system training plan, provide site safety leadership, and improve HSE performance using key performance indicators.                         

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

– Inspect and ensure effective implementation of developed Fire Fighting systems requirements.                    
                    
– To conduct Firefighting system training plan, provide site safety leadership, and improve HSE performance using key performance indicators.                    
                    
– Technical report on monthly basis regarding firefighting system.

– The HSE Technician is responsible for monitoring and assessing firefighting system situations, and conduct risk assessment for all operation and design risk migration measures so far as reasonable practicable.                    
                    
– To execute inspection plan for fire extinguishers and for all dry food unit premises including Port Sudan site.                    
                    
– To conduct the refilling process for empty extinguishers especially dry power pressure type.                    
                    
– To install the fire extinguisher on proper place.                    
                    
– To conduct the fire extinguishers maintenance for (parts and accessories).                    
                    
– To execute inspection plan and ensure fire alarm system and inspection the (detectors, manual call point and sounder).                    
                    
– To execute inspection plan and ensure the water firefighting system at all site.                    
                    
– Execute practical firefighting system training plan.                    
                    
– Share on investigations of all accidents and near-misses related to firefighting system.
                                  
– Gather firefighting system analysis data, measures effectiveness and seeks to continually improve the performance                    
                  

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

– Technician degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.

– Basic firefighting / accident investigation / risk assessment.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

– Knowledge in work place inspection & observation skills.
– Team work.
– Basic in written and spoken English.
– Work under pressure.
– Trainer Skills.
– Drive license.
