Position summary:

To coordinate between parts operations department and service department on Parts requests, parts delivery and parts availability in order to ensure smooth handling of parts to service department and to maintain harmony between the two parties.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Available Parts Packing Slip:Reserve available parts for all service parts requests , to ensure swift handling of parts to service department which, ultimately, will effect on customer satisfaction.Parts Receiving:Receive requested parts from warehouse and communicate with end users from service department upon the receipt of their items, in order to ensure accurate and systematic performance.

Parts Handing Over:Pass on parts to service department end user and ensure accuracy and consistency between requested parts and passed on parts.

In order to achieve the highest standards of precision and to reduce errors through this procedure.Back-orders Reporting:Report and communicate with end users from service department about the availability of their parts and ensure that the parts operations department proceeds on ordering the unavailable items, to ensure lead time optimization and customer satisfaction.Order Status:Check orders status with Order Controller and update end users from service department about their back-orders status, to ensure that all stakeholders are well-known with their situation to deal properly with the circumstances.                   

Warranty, PSP and PIP parts characterizing:Characterize and distinguish between warranty parts, PSP parts, and PIP parts in a suitable manner, in order to differentiate between the way of payment and costs for customers (whether they are internal or external).     
Parts service Reports:Prepare reports for all transactions related to parts that have been formulated by service department in order to optimize parts business and profitability and to ensure swift response to shifts on demand and to eliminate ambiguities.               

Any additional tasks requested by the Parts Manager   

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

Qualification:University degree.
2 Years in similar discipline, 1 of which in CAT/ automotive dealer.   

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Communication skills.                                             
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)                                    
Follow up skills.                                            

Warehouse Policies and Procedures.                                       
Six Sigma Green Belt
