Position summary:

To work collaboratively with AMMEA team to ensure that HQ and compliance reporting processes are adhered to ensure the effective management and monitoring of operating and capex budgets. As part of this will be the preparation of financial and narrative analysis reports for presentation of financial information as per HQ requirements

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

ERP system closing : Ensure timely ERP system reporting for monthly and year end closing period in accordance with GL supervisor and all finance team DG HQ target dates and any “other related targets.”Data Analysis: Ensure the use of effective data analytics to HQ so as to provide greater insights around AMMEA data to inform strategic decisions, and prepare documentation that reflects a company’s financial position/performance, income and expenses, reconciled accounts,  regulatory reports, and provide information to management & auditors as required.Budget: Ensure integration across ICT, HODs and management to enable the submission of cross collaborated quarterly and yearly budgets (plans) using Cognos Planning Application to Head Quarter, or any other HQ tool on Time os as to meet targets. Reporting: Work closely with AMMEA & DG team to streamline internal monthly and annual financial reports and reporting processes to deliver more efficient, effective, and analytical driven reporting as per agreed target dates where related inquires, insights and  explanations are provided for informed decision making. Team Development & Supervision : Supervise the team and individuals, monitoring their performance and avail the opportunities for their coaching and development.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

 Qualification:Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business AdministrationCertified Accountant (ACCA/CPA) Experience: Minimum  7+ years experience in Finance within a corporate environment    Minimum 4 + years experience in finance reporting within a complex environment Minimum 3 + years experience leading a General Accounts Team
