Position summary:

To ensure the overall delivery of transportation, customs clearance, insurance & registration processes, that result in the successful implementation of logistic support to DIAC.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Registration

Submit, track and document initial approval requests to import agricultural inputs (Seeds, Fertilizers and Pesticides. ”   

Products Final Conformity

Submit and track products final conformities requests to SSMO and Ministry of Agriculture.

Regulatory Affairs

Act as focal point between DIAC and Regulatory bodies such as (Plant Protection directory, Plant Quarantine, Pesticides Council & seeds Administration) and ensure compliance of documentation necessary for customs clearance process.

Documentation

Ensure a 100%  accurate documentation of initial & final conformity certificates, testing report and analysis certificates of  products.

Total Logistics Cost

Track and report on total costs of products registration to advise on recommended improvements to existing practices to optimize the impact on the total logistics cost.

Logistics Quality

Ensure that quality Logistic standards and practices are followed in line with expected company requirements.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

Qualification:

Diploma or Higher Degree in Administration or equivalent 

Experience

  • 5+ years relevant experience in products registration with governmental bodies                           
  • Administration & Documentation Experience                             
  • Local Sudanese Experience

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Governmental Registration Processes                                      
  •  Customs Clearance Processes                                            
  • Microsoft Office & ERP                                            
  • Tact, diplomacy and calmness, especially when dealing with tired drivers and disgruntled customers.

2.Inbound & Sourcing Specialist

Position summary:

To ensure the process of Procurement in getting the goods  needed is well maintained . While Sourcing & finding and vetting the suppliers of those goods & materialsTo developed and track the order plan and manage the procure-to-pay cycle in order to ensure that products are received in stock as planned. And also assurance of the correct process data had been loaded into the company systems and stocks had been captured correctly.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Information flow:

To assure all related information & documentation ( shipment documents) of flow of goods from the supplier door to the company door are availed and maintained  

Order Planning:

To Co-ordinate master orders plan and work closely with sales team and finance to ensure that all the plan updates are communicated to all stakeholders.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • To devise suppliers selection processes and criterion, supplierssegmentation process, agreements management and supplier performance management system.
  • Close follow up with finance for suppliers payment process from request of payment until the SWFIT provision .   

Source Analysis:

To conduct supply market researches in conjunction with research & development, product development & Business development functions to ensure compliance of sourced items with the market requirements of specifications and quality levels. 

Purchase Order Fulfillment (Communication & Coordination ):

To Communicate supply requirements, information and orders with suppliers , and co-ordinate shipments status/tracking and prepare for shipment arrival, clearance and dispatch to warehouses. 

Shipment Landed- Cost & stocking coordination:

Ensure to update  the received shipment laded-cost & stocking with coordination with costing department in finance.  

Customer satisfaction assurance:

To overlook sales orders process , invoicing and customer delivery process with the CS Coordinator , ensuring that the process is completed within the targeted lead time and the customer is satisfied .

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, management or a closely related field. 
  • Masters degree in Supply Chain, MBA or a relevant Field.          
  • Accredited Certification in Supply Chain.

Experience:

  • 5 -7 years relevant experience in Supply Chain environment        
  • Experience in Agriculture Industry
