Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager
You will be in charge of (safety and health) + (buildings maintenance) related to all Almanna group outlets.
You will directly manage the:
(A)
- Maintenance supervisor
- Maintenance technicians
(B)
- Safety and security / (HSE) supervisor
- Safety and securities officers
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance:
- develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking and so on.
- ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
- Supervise all staff facilities staff (Security Guard, technicians, etc.) and external contractors and prepare the PTW (Primate to work).
- Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems (Sewage, electrical, etc…)
- Coordinating sites and locations safety programs, and conduct safety drills
- Managing facilities planning and space allocation
- Coordinating building security and maintenance services
- Preparing and filing reports with government and regulatory authorities including environmental permitting
- supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
- Receive all the maintenance complaint and act accordingly.
- Prepare and send monthly report.
- Any other related tasks from the top management
Security, Health and Safety:
- Performs Risk Assessment.
- Develop and monitor and execute the ERP (Emergency response plan)
- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
- Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
- Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols
- Make sure that staff follow security procedures and guidelines through training programs and assessments
- Ensure the safety of staff and customers within the workplace, develop occupational health system.
- Perform security process evaluations and inspections and develop reporting system.
- Prepare the organization and staff for external inspections
- Manage the budget for security operations within an organization
- Develop near miss report system.
- Control security department spending
- Hire and train security staff
- Prepare and send monthly report.
- Any other related tasks from the top management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
- +5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
- Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
- Strong procurement and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong managerial skills.
