The Embassy of the Republic of Korea announces [Job Offer] to hire a staff (Facilities Technician) as follows;

Position : Administrative staff (Facilities Technician)

Starting Date to hire : 22nd November 2020
Salary : 1,000 USD/month + α

Job Description (Main Responsibilities)

• Serves as a Facilities Technician with responsibility for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of the Embassy Building and the Ambassador Residence, including all major facilities system and related equipment.
• Acts as a focal point person to coordinate all maintaining and repairing projects the Embassy Building and the Ambassador Residence (ex. city water, city power, power generator, plumbing, HVAC, telephone line, internet service, satellite, CCTV, TV setup, lighting, electrical, building structure, interior, etc.)
• Fix minor problems in the Embassy and the Ambassador Residence by him/herself.

Qualification

• Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.

1) Experience

• More than 3-year practical experiences in facilities maintaining, construction management, electrical technical supporting or in a related field.

2) Language (will be tested)

• English : Good Working Knowledge and Communication

3) Skills and Abilities (will be tested)

• Computer software (MS Office) and hardware
• Mechanical and Electrical operation- utilize maintenance tools to track, monitor, troubleshoot and fine tune processes and efforts
• Knowledge about proper local technicians and procurement market contact point for maintenances
• Driving License is Mandatory (more than 3-year driving record)

4) Health Condition

• COVID-19 Negative Certificate (the Candidates who passes documents assessment only)
