Position summary:

  • To provide technical support to the technicians and utilize available service special tools and literature.

  •  To confirm the completion of work on the vehicle and the contents of the job card (work instruction).
  • To report to the w/shop controller any additional required work found by the technician.

Technical Instructions and continues on job tracing process: 

  • To select right technicians to the right jobs.
  • To understand and instruct technical and workshop staff on new models, functions and adherence to technical procedures.
  • To submit technicians training requirements to the w/shop manager /sup.
  • To ensure that technicians are performing the jobs within the standard time, following correct repair and safety procedures and guidelines.

Floor Management:

  • To maintain, improve and promote the work environment.
  • To maintain workshop facility and equipment to company designated standards.
  • To meet business financial business plan and Technician target set by the w/shop manager relating to productivity, efficiency and utilization and quality standards.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent in automotive electrical and mechanical Engineering (Essential)   
  • University or polytechnic degree in Automotive Engineering (Desirable)

Experience:

  • 3 – 5 Years experience as a senior/high level technician.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Leadership skills.      
  • Management skills.              
  • Ability to read, write, communicate and present in English.                       
  • Ability to read, write, communicate and present in Arabic.            
  • Computer skills: Outlook, excel, word.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • MARKET ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH:
    • To analyze the market, competitors, customer needs and wants on an ongoing basis for the development of Aftermarket Parts strategies to source, legalize agreements, procure  to expand our portfolio.
  • MARKETING STRATEGY
    • Create and implement a marketing strategy for Aftermarket Parts business  based on the market analysis and designed to meet the Mission Statement and business objectives. Continually update the strategy through the business cycle to maximize results.
  • INNOVATION
    • Analyse “”Best Practice”” internationally to introduce new and innovative products to the market to build Customer excitement.
    • TEAM DEVELOPMENT
    • Build a team of professionals, as required to achieve the Company targets and objectives, who are leaders in their field and ensure continual development of their skills through a defined career development plan in conjunction with the Learning and Development Department.
